BAD 98th Annual Meeting

3 July 2018 to 5 July 2018

Edinburgh, Scotland

The British Association of Dermatologists is delighted to announce it's Annual Meeting is coming to Edinburgh this summer.

Taking place on the 3 – 5 July, this year’s event has built on the success of previous meeting, introduces new initiative and offers something for everyone working in dermatology.

A particular highlight this year are our keynote speakers; Dr Eleni Linos, Dr Wolfgang Weyers, Professor Warren Piette and Dr Hensin Tsao. They will be giving lectures on ‘Skin cancer treatment in the frail elderly: When less is more’, ‘Overdiagnosis in skin cancers’, ‘Reading the skin to recognise the pathophysiology of purpura, vasculitis, and microvascular occlusion’ and ‘Therapeutic checkmate in melanoma’ respectively. Meanwhile, Professor Hywel Williams is giving the Arthur Rook Oration on ‘Reducing waste in dermatology research’.

New to this year’s event are poster walks – which will take place during every coffee break of the meeting. Each session is themed and will be led by two entertaining and stimulating experts in the field, with themes including surgery, genetics and medical dermatology.

The meeting takes place at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, which is situated in the heart of Scotland’s historic capital. Edinburgh airport is just 20 minutes away and rail links to the city run all over the UK.

This year, members of ILDS Member Societies will receive a special discounted rate – please see below for the prices.
