Skin of Colour (SOC) Training Course 2025
23 Jan 2025
23 Jan 2025
On behalf of Dr Marisa Taylor & Dr Dami Jagun, Co-Founders of Skin of Colour Training UK, you are invited to register for the Skin of Colour Training 2025 (SOCT 2025).
The programme, entitled ‘Getting it Right the First Time’, focusses on how to correctly assess and manage our black and brown-skinned patients, from the outset. To this end, they have only invited world-class speakers to share their expertise but also created bespoke, hands-on workshops designed for Skin of Colour (SOC). Afterwards, you are also invited to join their sponsored gala dinner on Thursday, January 23rd, 2025 in the RCP's Dorchester library.
SOCTUK’s other aim is to promote and carry out research. Thus, they are inviting abstract submissions across all dermatological disciplines focussed on SOC between June 28th and October 28th.
The public have requested accessible SOC resources tailored to them and SOCT 2025 would not be possible without our generous sponsors. Therefore, also for the 1st time, we have organised a pre-meeting on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 aimed at professionals outside of healthcare, such as hairdressers and aestheticians. This half-day programme is brought to you in partnership with Eucerin's Social Mission programme and is open to all. To find out more and register for the pre-meeting, click here.
Places are limited! Secure your spot at SOCT 2025 by registering now and blocking your calendars for the main meeting January 23rd - 24th. We would also be delighted to see those of us who are hair and skin care enthusiasts, at the pre-meeting on Wednesday, January 22nd.
Date: 23-25 January 2025
Location: Royal College of Physicians in London, UK.
