Prof Stadler is one of the leading clinical dermatologists in Germany. He served as Secretary of the German Dermatologic Society from 2007-2011 and as President from 2011-2013.
Internationally, Prof Stadler has become famous as a leading scientist and clinician in cutaneous lymphoma. He rejuvenated the EORTC cutaneous lymphoma group and has served as its President for a number of years. As such he helped to launch international trials on cutaneous lymphoma and organised an international network of dermatologist involved in the field of cutaneous lymphoma. He thus helped to foster interaction and collaboration on a large scale in international dermatology.
Prof Stadler is member in various international and European dermatological societies. He has authored more than 300 full scientific articles and produced landmark primary publications in in the field of cutaneous lymphoma. Over the past 25 years he has been invited to be a speaker and/or chair in a significant number of national and international dermatology conferences.
