The Summit programme will focus on key issues and strategies relevant to the ILDS’ Member Societies. During this Summit we will also address dermatological issues that affect the South-East Asian region as well as other under-served regions. The Programme Committee is actively consulting Member Societies and regional representatives to develop the final programme.
In addition to considering current important specific dermatological conditions, we will explore the evolving role of dermatologists and the scope of service delivery for skin disorders by other health professionals and providers. The Summit will also address priority issues of the International Foundation for Dermatology (www.ifd.org), the humanitarian arm of the ILDS, such as rare or neglected diseases and under-served patients in resource-poor settings.
