ILDS Members selected the winning bid during the ILDS Ordinary General Meeting (Assembly of Delegates) at the 24th World Congress of Dermatology in Milan.
It was a close-fought campaign between six candidate cities: Beijing, Dubai, Guadalajara, Rio de Janeiro, Singapore and Sydney.
“We are delighted that ILDS Members and dermatologists from around the world will be meeting in Singapore in 2023. The Dermatological Society of Singapore presented exciting plans for the 25th World Congress of Dermatology and we already look forward to collaborating with the President of the 25th World Congress of Dermatology in Singapore and the local organising team in order to prepare an outstanding World Congress of Dermatology in 2023” said Professor Lars French, ILDS President.
The President of the 25th World Congress of Dermatology, Professor Roy Chan added “We are excited and grateful to be given this honour and privilege to host the World Congress of Dermatology. We look forward to welcoming the global dermatology community to Singapore in 2023.”
