Moving the ILDS to new horizons in dermatological policy, education and global health
Every year the ILDS awards DermLink grants to projects submitted by our Members. This year there are ten 2022 DermLink grant recipients from across the world, including Burundi, Fiji, Indonesia, and Madagascar.

In 2022, the IFD awarded 10 DermLink grants totalling over $47,000 for projects in nine countries across the continents of Africa, Oceania, and Asia through the very kind support of the ILDS member organisations as they submitted the grant applications to the IFD, either as a project sponsor or to undertake the project directly themselves.
The aim of the GPEC programme is to improve the standard of dermatological education and care worldwide, through facilitating mutual learning partnerships between organisations. We seek to pair up dermatology departments to establish bi-directional knowledge exchange, furthering ILDS’ vision to attain the best possible skin health for all people around the world.

Recently, the International Foundation for Dermatology (IFD) and Bridges2Health&Rights conducted a one-week medical mission to provide medical assistance to local and displaced communities in Lebanon. This was done in response to the crisis and as part of a joint initiative.
