This week is the 75th World Health Assembly (WHA) in Geneva. The ILDS holds official relations status with the World Health Organization (WHO) which allows us to attend the WHA and make statements to member states. This gives us the opportunity to champion dermatology and skin health and ensure its inclusion in global health policy.

DermLink Grants 2022: How the IFD is Making a Difference in Global Skin Health

In 2022, the IFD awarded 10 DermLink grants totalling over $47,000 for projects in nine countries across the continents of Africa, Oceania, and Asia through the very kind support of the ILDS member organisations as they submitted the grant applications to the IFD, either as a project sponsor or to undertake the project directly themselves.

Final Report of the 3rd ILDS World Skin Summit

The 3rd ILDS World Skin Summit (WSS) took place in Lima, Peru from October 13th to 15th, 2022, and has been deemed a great success. The summit, organised by the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS), brought together 119 leaders from 47 global dermatological societies to address common challenges and opportunities in skin health.
