Background Information
The International Dermato-Venereology Alliance Against Trafficking is a coalition of physicians and advocates around the world, founded by Dr. Shadi Kourosh, Dr. Claire Fuller, and Dr. Valeska Padovese to bridge research and advocacy initiatives in the US and Europe to assist patients affected by human and to expand the network of experts and programs around the world.
Our goal is to gather data that will then inform our education, educational and advocacy initiatives.

This group collaborates and is informed by interdisciplinary experts from the law and policy communities including Isotta Rossoni of UN Women (UN organization dedicated to gender equality, and the empowerment of women) and Professor Laura Lederer of the Georgetown Law Center and advisor to US government on human trafficking.
The International Registry of the Skin Signs of Trafficking: where physicians, other members of the healthcare team, and stakeholders and other arenas such as policy and government that intersect with human trafficking can log anonymous cases of the skin signs of trafficking that they have seen to inform our data around this issue specific to each region of the world.
