Guadalajara, Mexico


Bidding together as one, the Mexican Academy of Dermatology, the Mexican Society of Dermatology and the Mexican Society of Dermatologic Surgery & Oncology have joined forces to bid the city of Guadalajara, Mexico to host of the World Congress of Dermatology 2023. Experienced in hosting distinguished visitors and events such as: Internet Governance Forum (2016), World Ophthalmology Congress (2016) and the Union World Conference on Lung Health (2017), Guadalajara has positioned itself as the preferred city in Mexico for international congresses and one of the best meetings destinations in Latin America.

The State of Jalisco is known for being the birthplace of the most internationally recognised Mexican symbols: Mariachi, Tequila, Charreria (Mexican rodeo) and our Gastronomy. Anticipated to be held at the second largest venue in Latin America with over 1,280,905ft² the Expo Guadalajara is just right for the WCD and its attendees. Surrounded by many smaller but equally recognised destinations, Guadalajara is 45 min away from the magical town of Tequila and approximately 3.5 hours away from Puerto Vallarta, the most famous beach destination on the Pacific Coast. Guadalajara, Mexico will be the first city in Latin America to host World Congress of Dermatology.
